About UsWho we are, what we do, and how to use this website.
We're on a mission to help people get informed about sustainability, and be inspired to do the things they can do to make a difference – even if it means swapping just one light bulb for a compact fluorescent. To measurably improve conditions for a healthy, prosperous Napa Valley, we support policymakers and engage residents, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. Founded by the Gasser Foundation, and with support PG&E, we continue to form strategic alliances, share ideas, and take action. Sustainable Napa County receives strategic planning, marketing, and administrative support from NewLevel Group. A note about this website: For the first time, the best of Napa County's sustainability efforts are being organized in one place. Right now we're just getting started, but over time this portal of local and regional information will become a rich resource for news, education, and inspiration in Napa County. Community and collaboration are cornerstones of our organization. We know that many intelligent heads are better than one, and working together to build something amazing is more powerful than duplicating efforts. For those reasons, you'll find a lot of articles here that we didn't write, and links that send you away from SNC. So go ahead and leave our site. Leave it often. But come back often, too. |
